Two years have passed since Debby passed away peacefully just after midnight on the morning of Thursday, February 11, 2021. She was 64 years old and died from metastatic breast cancer. Since then, we have spent long hours combing through her countless works of art, prints, photographs, books, and doodles. She was prolific and each piece, each project of hers, helped and continues to help us remember her and remember the loving spirit she shared through her art. Reopening her website seems a fitting way, albeit small, to continue to share her art and message.
Deb’s art spoke for her and resonated with countless others looking for deep, spiritual meaning in their lives. We look forward to you finding all the hopeful things in the world in Deb’s art as you discover her creations: Art one can laugh with, cry with, and feel hope from; Something to brighten our day or to realize that we’re not alone.
In late 2021, the Norman Rockwell Museum acquired a significant portion of Deb’s art. The Museum has added her work to it’s collection of artists considered influential in modern American graphics. Artists who both reflected and influenced period American culture. Her art will be used to educate and inspire. We are grateful to the Museum for honoring Deb’s life and legacy.
